OUR LOVE STORY

Who knew in one 20 second interaction, perfectly timed, never planned,  a dog walking boy and an errand running girl would squint their rather squinty eyes and stop in their tracks on Amsterdam & 73rd st — “Hi.” It was a global pandemic and it had been years since they had seen each other. Both looked brighter and if I dare say a little saner than the first time they had met. There they were, reconnected. The people they had worked to be. Ready for a journey they were meant to have. They think about that moment often and how ridiculously clever the universe is.  After that, the inevitable- sweet love.
